Food was nutritious and delicious, but it took me hella long to find the restaurant at tokyo station even with google maps navigating me. It probably took me longer to find the place than it took me to wait in line to be seated, get seated, place my order, wait for food, eat the food, and pay the bill.
I wish I had 5 stomachs to try everything on the menu, especially the katsu sandwich which looked BOMB. Somebody try the sandwich and let me know if it’s worth going back to Japan for
Maybe I just don’t like Ramen in general, or maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but I wasn’t the biggest fan. This place is confusing to get to (you MUST have a train ticket, there is no way around it!) and it did take me a while to find it. But I was determined to find vegan food in Tokyo! I got the gold sesame ramen, based on other yelp reviews. The peanuty taste everyone talks about is basically a plop of creamy peanut butter that is placed in the bowl.
I found the broth to lack depth and it needed more substance to me. I also got the dumplings as a side, which were average. I appreciated the good service, and the numerous vegan options, but I really wasn’t the biggest fan.
