In a city full of malls, IFC stands out for it’s prime location connected to the Central MTR station (and the in-town check-in service so you can drop off luggage here instead of carrying it to the airport) and overlooking Victoria Harbour. Even if you don’t intent to come here, you will inevitably end up here at some point during your stay in HK just because of its proximity to everything.
The shops are expensive international brands, but even if you aren’t looking to buy luxury goods, it is worth a look because of the rooftop garden which has excellent views. If you are here for shopping, the stores are conveniently organized. For instance, all the beauty/skincare goods are clustered together on one floor, women’s fashion on another floor etc. There’s a cinema, lots of restaurants, citysuper grocery store, and Lane Crawford department store. If you come during the holidays or CNY they’ll have gorgeous displays. It’s out of my price range for sure, but a nice place to grab a coffee or snack and enjoy some fancy window shopping!
